Join us on the Oregon coast! Tillamook County is the site of the next Annual Meeting of the Oregon Birding Association, September 28-30, at the Old Mill RV Park and Event Center in Garibaldi.
FRIDAY EVENING: Kendrick Moholt, photographer, ornithologist, and world traveler, presents "Islands: Put the Watching Back into Birding." He will share favorite locations from the tropics to subantarctic islands and describe why he is happy to give up a big list in favor of abundance, proximity, and a lack of fear.
SATURDAY EVENING: Dr. Pepper Trail will present "Fighting Crime with Feathers: The Casebook of a Forensic Ornithologist." Dr. Trail is a senior forensic scientist and ornithologist at the US Fish & Wildlife Service Forensics Laboratory in Oregon, the world's foremost facility dedicated to solving crimes against wildlife.
